The ageing period of the principle ingredients in CHRISTOPHER HANLON™ Bespoke Perfumery varies from 10 to 20 years, depending on the botanicals through which the aromatic oil is derived. There is no general expiry date to any CHRISTOPHER HANLON™ Bespoke Perfume – with time many develop finer sensorial nuances.

No2020 is a strong woody Oriental/Outback fusion. It leaves a seductive smokiness on the skin thanks to Oud Absolute, Saffron Absolute, Tobacco Leaf and Wildcrafted Hemp Extract. Sour Mandarin peel brings an energetic element of aromatic harmony – a discord. This eccentric masterpiece is undeniably exotic and distinctive. A collector’s piece. An artisanal scent featuring Peppered Woods, Oud and iconic Hanlon™ Amber. Carefully hand blended by Christopher with Australian Rose, Cinnamon and Basil to reveal the smoky base of Sandalwood and Cedar. Guaiacwood rounds out this oriental-woody before the dry down: hints of musky Ambrette Seed and French Labdanum. It is enchanting and thrilling. Fermented Lime Essence with Bush Potato creates a secondary backstory. The complex lingering finale is a richly textured mélange embedded with bruised Lavender, Tulip, Carnation Flowers, Waratah and (more) Oud. Unapologetically masculine. Raw.
